From 12th to 15th of April, Bioagricoop participated in the FHA Fair in Singapore.
The FHA Fair takes place every two years and is the Asia’s leading and most comprehensive international food and hospitality trade event.
The Fair welcomed more than 72,000 attendees from over 100 countries/regions, a 13.3% increase from the last edition in 2014. Trade attendees include exhibiting staff, trade visitors, conference speakers and delegates, judges and competitors, and members of the media.
Throughout the 4-days event, trade buyers packed the exhibition halls in search of products and solutions amidst the tens of thousands of product offerings put up by a record 3,198 exhibitors from 71 countries/regions and 58 international group pavilions.
Bioagricoop participated in the Fair with a collective booth of 30 mq, located in the central Hall no. 8.
The booth had 7 showcases for the organic products, coming from Italian organic farming, as:
-extra vergin oil and oil made by different seeds
-organic wines coming from Emilia Romagna region
-chips and snacks
-eco-cosmetic.
The booth was located within the Italian area, and it was clearly identifiable as a space entirely dedicated to organic food.
Thanks to this peculiarity, the booth received a great number of visitors specifically interested in organic products. Most of the visitors had a good knowledge and awareness about organic foods: they came to the booth attracted by the organic logo and spent time asking for detailed information.
Many visitors were interested not only in organic foods, but also in healthy products, as free products (sugar free, gluten free, etc.), vegan foods etc.
During the 4 days, Bioagricoop gathered many contacts, including retailers, buyers, distributors, journalists, Institution delegation, mostly coming from Singapore, Malesia, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Thailand.
Because Singapore is the central hub for all the region, the Fair has been very important for the creation of commercial relationship in all the South East Asia.
