On July, the event "INCOMING" happened.
The Incoming represented a very important stage of our project Organicity. It involved 8 guests coming from South East Asian countries, that could know in person the Italian organic producers and their production methods.
The guests, all high qualified, came from renowned restaurants, supermarkets and import and distribution companies of South East Asia. Specifically, we had the pleasure to share the event with:
- 2 guests from Thailand, from the Import and Distribution Company Food Gallery
- 2 guests from Malaysia, from the retail grocery store Jaya Grocer
- 1 guest from Malaysia, from the Import Company Niche Gourmet
- 1 guest from Malaysia, from the Everrise Group that manages 13 supermarket in Kuching
- 2 guests from Indonesia, from the important supermarket chain Ranch Market
The guests spent a whole week in Italy, during which they met some Italian organic companies, through visits to the companies and their production facilities, as well as through B2B meetings.
During the week, we visited: a company that produces pasta, a company of biscuits and baby foods, a company producing wine, one of jams and fruit juices, a company producing tomato sauces and pesti, and a company that produces cheese. Moreover, thanks to specific B2B meetings, the guests came in contact with a producer of chips and one of organic coffee.
The incoming gave the chance to the guests to deep the knwoledge of the Italian organic companies, entering in their production facilities and warehouses and tasting their products. The Italian companies, on the other side, had a precious opportunity to promote their products and to explain their production methods to high qualified organic food operators.
